TROWBRIDGE TOWN DEVELOPMENT FC 2 BRADFORD TOWN ‘A’ FC 3
BRADFORD EDGE TROWBRIDGE IN TIGHT MATCH

Bradford Town ‘A’ remain top of The Gooding Accounts Ltd sponsored Division Two on goal difference but had to fight off a tight challenge from Trowbridge Town Development in this 3 – 2 win.
First half goals from Tyler Robinson (two) and Lewis Baden with a reply from Trowbridge Town Developments Devon Newbury-Hinds gave Bradford Town ‘A’ a deserved 3 – 1 lead at the break in a first half where they were much the better side.
In a game of two halves, it was Trowbridge who were stronger after the break with Tyler Dagger pulling one back for the home team who despite all their efforts were unable to find an equaliser.
Next weekend Trowbridge Town Development host Division One Seend United in a Knockout Cup first round tie while Bradford Town ‘A’ will be hoping to continue their excellent start to the season with a visit to Staverton Rangers in the league.
FRESHFORD UNITED FC 1 THE LODGE FC 3
THE LODGE KEEP UP CHALLENGE AT THE TOP

Trowbridge and District new team The Lodge FC have had an excellent start to life in the league and are only second by goal difference in The Gooding Accounts Ltd sponsored Division Two, remaining unbeaten after an excellent 3 – 1 win from their visit to in-form Freshford United.
Josh Gardner, Taylor Kitley and James Reeves were on the scoresheet for The Lodge, who along with Bradford Town ‘A’ remain unbeaten at the top of the table on ten points each from four games.
Walid Bakali was on the scoresheet for Freshford United who themselves have had a good start to the season, this being their first defeat in three matches.
Both teams are in Knockout Cup action next weekend with Freshford hosting Bishops Cannings and The Lodge hosting Division One side Melksham Town Development
FC DEVIZES UNITED 0 PARK UNITED FC 6
HIGH SCORING PARK MARCH ON

After suffering their first defeat of the season last time out, Park United stormed back to form with a comprehensive 6 – 0 win over FC Devizes United, to end the hosts perfect start to the season in The Gooding Accounts Ltd sponsored Division Two.
Lewis McCarron led the way for Park United with a hat-trick.
Jake Angell hit a double and Cameron Docherty-smith helped himself to one to maintain an excellent start to Parks first season in The Trowbridge and District Football League.
Next weekend Park United face a tough trip to Division One side Warminster Town Reserves in what looks to be an exciting first round Knockout Cup tie.
FC Devizes United are also in Knockout Cup action next week against fellow Division Two side Heytesbury Reserves.
DILTON MARSH WANDERERS FC 2 THE STIFFS FC 1
CRABB PINCHES IT FOR WANDERERS

A Callum Crabb strike proved to be the difference for Dilton Marsh Wanderers as they won their second league match of the season, beating The Stiffs 2 – 1 in this Gooding Accounts Ltd sponsored Division Two match.
Crabb had an excellent match overall and set up Dale Rowland in the first half who gave Dilton the lead.
The home side could have increased their advantage in the first half but found The Stiffs keeper in good form to deny them on two or three occasions.
The Stiffs came out strong in the second half and levelled the game when Tom Wilkes equalised from the spot before Crabb grabbed the winner to take the points for Dilton.
Next weekend Dilton Marsh Wanderers will be confident of continuing their good form when they visit Aces FC in a Division Two match. The Stiffs are in Knockout Cup action and will be hoping to book a place in the next round as they host Hilperton Greyhound.
HILPERTON GREYHOUND FC 3 HEYTESBURY RESERVES FC 0
GREYHOUND RACE TO FIRST VICTORY

Hilperton Greyhound picked up their first victory in The Gooding Accounts Ltd sponsored Division Two with a confidence boosting 3 – 0 win against fellow new team Heytesbury Reserves.
Goals from Cori Brewer, Simon Parfitt and Jack Brewer gave Hilperton Greyhound their first points of the season while Heytesbury Reserves will have to wait longer for their first win of this campaign.
Next weekend both teams are in Knockout Cup action with Heytesbury Reserves facing a tough trip to FC Devizes United while after this win Hilperton Greyhound may be fancying their chances of a second round place with a visit to The Stiffs.
STAVERTON RANGERS FC 1 ACES FC 5
ACES FIND FORM FOR FIRST WIN

Staverton Rangers welcomed Aces FC to their base today with both teams looking for their first points in this season’s Gooding Accounts Ltd sponsored Division Two, and it was Aces who came away with a comprehensive 5 – 1 victory.
Liam Moffat led the way for Aces with a brace, with further strikes from Mike Little, Saba Claudiu and Junior Smart making up the five giving Aces their first points of the season.
Garry Blackmore was on the scoresheet for Staverton Rangers.
Next weekend Aces will be hoping to continue their good form when they host Dilton Marsh Wanderers in a Division Two match.
Staverton Rangers are also in league action next weekend when they host league leaders Bradford Town ‘A’.
