GIBBENS GOAL DENIES COLLEGIANS VICTORY 

In what was their final Gooding Accounts Ltd sponsored-Trowbridge & District Football League, First Division outing of the season Heytesbury & Codford FC  travelled Frome Collegians Reserves and it was thanks to the 3G facility at Selwood School that the match beat the elements.

Frome Collegians twice led their Sam Spratt side, but the villagers fought back on both occasions to earn a share of the spoils from a 2-2 draw.

Ross Knapton saw his opener for the hosts cancelled out by Bradley Edwards.  George Woodland regained the lead for Collegians in the first half to give his team a slender advantage at the break.

The second half was another cagey affair and it was Division One top scorer Liam Gibbens who earned his team their point with his 18th league goal and 26th strike across all competitions.
