Bromham will have to do what no other side has managed to do this season and that is beat champions Durrington FC next week if they are to finish in third place, a 2-2 draw away at Freshford United Reserves, has left Calne Athletic on the brink of beating their rivals to what should be a place in the top flight next season.

With the Division Two title already in the bag Durrington FC breezed to a 5-0 win away at local rivals South Newton & Barford Hornets while Avon Valley’s 5-0 win away at Pilot FC saw them edge closer to nailing down the runners up spot.
Jack Jenkins, Durrington FC side picked up the victory they needed to be crowned Second Division champions at their very first attempt. A 9-1 victory for the Salisbury based side over Bishops Cannings Reserves put the icing on the cake for the league winners. The race is now on for the runners-up spot, with Avon Valley in pole position to beat Bromham to second place.

The match of the day in Division two was undoubtedly the clash between locals rivals Avon Valley FC and Durrington FC. Elsewhere it was only for the efforts of club secretaries who managed to somehow reverse fixtures to ensure games were played.
Durrington FC moved a step closer to claiming the Second division title, thanks to a 2-0 victory away at Calne Athletic. Avon Valley netted 14 at home to Pilot FC and elsewhere their were victories for Bromham & Trowbridge Town Tigers.
Despite an improvement in the weather over the last week, the League saw just Five of it’s planned League fixtures over it’s two divisions overcome the elements, compared to 9 the previous week when the conditions were much worse.
Avon Valley suffered a set back in their bid to catch Durrington at the top of the table after a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Trowbridge Town Tigers.
