SEEND MOVE BACK TO THE SUMMIT
A 1-0 victory for Seend United over former table toppers Frome Collegians Reserves on Saturday afternoon, saw them move back to the top of Spring Cup League table and gave them the perfect build up to the following league encounter between the sides, who had agreed to play a double header to the fixture congestion caused by recent poor weather.
After a goalless first half Jack Woolgrove won the tie for Seend with a well taken overhead strike.
The outcome of the group will be decided on Tuesday evening, but if Collegians defeat Heytesbury & Codford they have a good chance of returning to the summit and claiming the free passage into the semi-finals.
